Location Switcher version 1.0.0 is a Chrome extension provided by 合同会社anworks. It changes the Google Search location in the tab you choose. It does not create an account. We do not operate a Location Switcher server that receives extension data.

We use information only to provide this feature: finding a place, showing a map, applying a location to Google Search, restoring the previous Search location cookie when the change ends, and remembering display language. The extension does not collect accounts, browsing history, Search results or rankings, or data for advertising. It has no analytics of its own, and we do not sell user data.

The extension stores on your device:

• The place you selected (name and coordinates)
• The last place you applied
• Display language (English or Japanese)

While a location change is active, it also keeps, for that session only, whether the change is on and the Google Search UULE cookie as it was before the change, so it can be restored.

This information stays on your device and is not sent to us. To delete it, uninstall the extension or clear the extension’s data in Chrome. Turn the location change off to restore the previous UULE cookie when it was saved. We cannot delete data that exists only on your device. Photon, CARTO, and Google keep what they receive under their own policies.

The extension does not send data to us. When you use a feature, your device talks directly to the services below. We do not receive a copy. Each provider handles information under its own terms and privacy policy.

Photon (komoot)

Host: https://photon.komoot.io. Used to find a place by name or look up a name from coordinates. May receive the text you type, coordinates, a language setting for place names, and usual request data such as IP address and browser information (User-Agent). Komoot Privacy Policy

Host: https://basemaps.cartocdn.com. Used to show map tiles when you open “Find on map”. Tiles are not requested until you open the map. Google Search

Used on google.com and google.co.jp tabs you apply, so Search can use the place you chose. Details are in item 4. Google Privacy Policy

To apply the feature, the extension checks whether the current tab is an allowed Google Search page. It does not save a browsing history.

When you apply a location on an allowed Google Search tab, the extension:

• Connects Chrome Debugger to that tab and overrides that tab’s location
• Adds an X-Geo header to Google Search requests with the chosen coordinates
• Temporarily replaces the Google Search UULE cookie with a value for those coordinates
• May then call navigator.geolocation.getCurrentPosition in that tab, only to check that the override is working

Before changing UULE, it saves the previous UULE cookie on your device. It reads and writes only the UULE cookie on Google Search. It does not read your Google account, other cookies, search queries, result text, or rankings.

Debugger is disconnected, and the previous UULE cookie is restored when available, if you turn the change off, leave Google Search, close the tab, or close Chrome’s debugging bar.

Communications described here use HTTPS.

We do not use Location Switcher data for advertising. We do not sell user data, or give it to advertising platforms, data brokers, or other information resellers. We do not use it for credit or lending decisions.

We follow the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements:

Location Switcher バージョン 1.0.0 は、合同会社anworks が提供する Chrome 拡張機能です。指定したタブの Google 検索の地域を変更します。アカウントは作成しません。当社は、本拡張機能のデータを受け取る専用サーバーを運営していません。

情報は、地域の検索、地図の表示、Google 検索への地域の適用、終了時の検索用 Cookie の復元、表示言語の記憶という機能提供に限り利用します。アカウント、閲覧履歴、検索結果や順位、広告用データは収集しません。独自のアクセス解析は行わず、ユーザーデータも販売しません。

本拡張機能が端末内に保存する情報は次のとおりです。

• 選択した地域（名称と緯度経度）
• 最後に適用した地域
• 表示言語（English / 日本語）

地域の変更がオンのあいだだけ、適用中かどうかと、変更前の Google 検索 UULE Cookie （復元用）も、そのセッションの範囲で端末内に保持します。

これらの情報は端末内に留まり、当社へは送られません。削除するには、拡張機能を削除するか、Chrome で本拡張機能のデータを消去してください。地域の変更をオフにすると、保存していた UULE Cookie がある場合は復元されます。端末内にしかないデータを、当社が遠隔から削除することはできません。Photon、CARTO、Google が受け取った情報の保存は、各社のポリシーに従います。

本拡張機能は、データを当社へ送りません。機能を使うと、利用者の端末から次のサービスへ直接通信します。当社がその写しを受け取ることはありません。各社の取扱いは、それぞれの利用規約とプライバシーポリシーに従います。

Photon（komoot）

送信先: https://photon.komoot.io。地域名の検索、または座標から地名を調べるために使います。入力した検索語、座標、地名表示用の言語設定、通信に伴う IP アドレスやブラウザ情報（User-Agent）が送られることがあります。 Komoot Privacy Policy

Google 検索

適用する google.com / google.co.jp のタブで、指定した地域を検索に反映するために使います。詳細は「4」をご覧ください。 Google プライバシーポリシー

機能の適用のため、現在のタブが対象の Google 検索ページかを確認します。閲覧履歴は保存しません。

対象の Google 検索タブで地域を適用すると、本拡張機能は次を行います。

• そのタブに Chrome Debugger を接続し、位置情報を指定した座標へ上書きする
• Google 検索へのリクエストに、指定座標を伝える X-Geo ヘッダーを付ける
• Google 検索の UULE Cookie を、指定座標に対応する値へ一時的に置き換える
• 上書きが効いているかを確認する目的に限り、そのタブで navigator.geolocation.getCurrentPosition を呼び出す場合がある

UULE を変える前に、元の UULE Cookie を端末内へ保存します。読み書きする Cookie は Google 検索上の UULE だけです。Google アカウント、他の Cookie、検索語、結果本文、順位は読みません。

変更をオフにしたとき、Google 検索を離れたとき、タブを閉じたとき、または Chrome のデバッグバーを閉じたとき、Debugger は切断され、保存していた UULE Cookie がある場合は復元されます。

本セクションの通信は HTTPS を使います。

Location Switcher のデータを広告に使いません。ユーザーデータを販売せず、広告プラットフォーム、データブローカー、その他の情報再販売事業者へ渡しません。与信や貸付けの判断にも使いません。
